PROGRAM

Whitewater Rafting
Adventure activities such as rafting, kayaking and canyoning are great tools for these kind of programs as it facilitates team work, trust, communication, risk management, stress management and learning new skills to name a few!
We will meet at our office at 6.30am and drive to the Trisuli River. Our first day will be a day of adventure, whitewater rafting on the Trisuli.
We will reach the river after a 3 hour drive, you will then have time to change into your river clothes, be given your equipment and your guide will give you a detailed safety briefing of what to expect through the day.
Rafting is a great activity to encourage team work. To safely navigate our way through the rapids, everyone in the raft must work as one.
And there’s nothing like a bit of adrenaline to get you working like a well oiled machine!
After lunch on a beach on the river, we will take on the biggest rapids of the day. The biggest being a Grade IV named Upset. This will be a real team effort. Communication with your guide is key here. After this it’s plain sailing all the way to our camp. We will stop just before we reach camp for those brave enough to take on a 10meter cliff jump! What a way to end the day!
Once we reach camp, you will be shown to your tents and around the amenities at camp. Depending on what you would like to do, you can have free time until dinner or we can arrange more activities in the late afternoon.
Dinner will be served around 8pm and after which we will enjoy dancing, singing and telling stories around the campfire.
Today we try our hands at kayaking. When trying something new, you have to put your trust into others. Pushing your boundaries and doing something out of your comfort zone is a great way to push personal boundaries and realise your full potential.
We will start the day by either paddling in our swimming pool, or the ‘lake’ just at the front of our land. Our guides will go over all the basics and teach you how to exit your kayak safely, how to cross the river and how to paddle in a straight line (harder than it sounds!)
After a spot of lunch back up at camp, we will paddle down 7km to the famous Manakamana Cable Car. A quick shuttle in the bus takes us back to camp for the night.
On our final day we will try our hands at Canyoning – Abseiling down waterfalls. Just 10km up from camp is the famous Jalberi Canyon.
We start the trip off with a 30 minute hike up the hill where we are greeted with a massive 100m waterfall! (great for a photo opportunity!)
Your guides will then give you all your equipment and go through an extensive safety briefing.
One by one we will then jump into the canyon and off we go. It’s a series of cliff jumps, repells, shimmy’s and natural waterslides.
We will serve lunch half way down on one of the rocks, so don’t worry you won’t go hungry!
At the end of today, you can either go back to Kathmandu, spend another night at camp, or we can add extra days with other activities for you.
